| Nicoma Park Middle School |
| The mission of the faculty and staff of Nicoma Park
Middle School is to help students achieve success as
they transition from elementary school, through middle
school, and into high school.
We provide a safe, orderly, caring environment
that facilitates high academic achievement, fosters
awareness of cultural diversity and individuality, and
empowers students with essential skills to become
life-long learners. We seek to challenge each of our
students by presenting rigorous programs filled with
options and opportunities. We challenge all of our
students to achieve to the best of their abilities so
they will be successful in our highly competitive world.
We also support our students as they grow emotionally
and socially during their adolescence. Along with their
parents, we have the responsibility to help our students
make the right choices in life in regards to friends,
careers, character development, and personal safety. Our
students are successful because of a caring and
dedicated staff that develops positive relationships
with the students and their families. We are committed
to fostering a culture of mutual respect, high
expectations, and personal accountability for our
students, staff, families, and greater community. |

The Choctaw-
Nicoma Park School District would like to introduce new
resources for our parents through The Parent Institute. The
Parent Institute provides professional, research-based tips and
ideas for school success on responsibility, respect, student
motivation, reading, math, homework, study skills, routines,
discipline and more. . . The resource materials are web based
for your convenience and links will be available on the district

| Construction at NPMS is now complete! We have a new entry way with offices and security doors. A seventh grade addition has been added. Each of the rooms are "safe rooms." A new stand alone wrestling facility was built on the NW corner. We also have a new parking lot with separate lanes for bus and parent pick up. The North parking lot is for bus pick up, and the South lot is for parent pick up. |
