CAPs
(Career Academy Projects)
A CAP is a project designed to help each student connect specific core academic learning with his/her post-secondary plans, career interests, and/or future goals.
Specific criteria for the projects includes:
- Technology Component
- Showcase Component
- Reflective Paper
§Implementation Plan:
- Phased in over a period of three years starting with predominantly sophomore classes.
§
- Each Academy has 10 projects to choose from in the designated classes.
§
- Each student must complete at least one project for the designated classes, preferably from their chosen Academy.
