The 2010
Yellowjacket Yearbook is almost here! Students who have
preordered the book will need to bring either the slip
distributed by the Yearbook Staff or a receipt or order number
from Jostens in order to pick their book up.
|
|
A
limited number of books will be available for purchase. These
full color yearbooks are $75 and will be available on a
first-come, first-serve basis while supplies last.
There are no
reserves!

may be purchased by check (made to
Choctaw
High School
with
“yearbook” in the memo section) or cash.

Books will be distributed during the following times:

SENIORS will receive books on Friday, May 21 at Graduation Practice.
Books will be available for purchase at this time.

FRESHMEN, SOPHOMORES, and JUNIORS may pick up or purchase books beginning
on Monday, May 24, during LUNCH. Books will not be available
during class periods.

The Yearbook Staff invites students and
parents to submit photos for the yearbook. If you've got great
photos of school and community events or you and your friends
just having fun, we'd like to see them. Our photographers can't
be everywhere. Help us get as many photos as possible to create
a terrific book everyone will want to have.
Here is how you can submit photos online:
• Go to:
https://images.jostens.com/login
• If it does not automatically log you into the site, enter
username:400030022 and password: jackets1
• Browse to select the photo(s) you wish to upload.
• Enter information about the photo and provide contact
information in case the staff needs additional information.
• Click "Save Details".
It's that easy! Submit your photos today! The image uploader is
activated on May 31.

yearbook content. We cannot guarantee that all submissions can
be used in the book.

In order to insure that your student is
depicted in the senior portrait section of the 2010-2011
Yellowjacket, it is imperative that the photo is taken and
submitted by the deadline.
Please have portraits taken by September 1, 2010.
Presently,
Choctaw
High School does not have
an exclusivity contract with any specific photographer. You are
free to use the photographer of your choice; however, we have
certain guidelines and restrictions that must be followed.
Photos may be submitted via hard copy, CD (in .jpg or .tiff
format), or as a digital upload via Jostens. (See information on
this page about the Jostens Uploader.)
Senior Portrait Specifications for the Yearbook:
- Head-and-shoulder shots only.
- No full body, no props.
- Proper attire includes graduation
gowns for males and females; Collared shirts and ties
for men (sportcoat is optional); boa or wrap for ladies.
- Plain backgrounds preferred in
either blue or gray. No outdoor shots or bright
backgrounds allowed.
- Photo size: 1 3/4 inches tall by 1
1/2 inches wide. Photos may be larger as long as the
head size is correct.
- Photos must be vertical.
- Head size from top of head to
chin: 1 inch maximum.
- COLOR photos, please. No black and
white.
- Digital submissions must be 120%
size at 300 dpi/ppi
