Parent Information:  PowerSchool What is "PowerSchool"? "PowerSchool" is the web-based student information system used by the Choctaw-Nicoma Park School District. It provides you with a convenient means of being involved in your student's school day. At any time you can get up-to-date information on a student's grades and attendance, as well as teacher comments, the daily bulletin for your student's school, and easy e-mail access to your student's teachers. How to Log In to PowerSchool Parent Portal: 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. Open your web browser to Choctaw-Nicoma Park School's Parent Portal URL - http://69.21.32.30:8080/public The log in page will appear. Enter your username in the first field. Enter your password in the second field.  The characters appear as asterisks (*) to ensure greater security when you log in. Click Enter.  The PowerSchool Parent Portal start page will appear. Please contact your student's school for your secure log in information. PowerSchool Parent Portal Start Page Icon  Description  This entry screen will display your child’s current schedule, attendance and grades. Click on a grade for complete detail of individual assignments. Click on a teacher’s name to send an e-mail to that teacher.   This screen will display all grades by quarter.  Click on a grade for complete detail of individual assignments   This screen will display all student attendance for the current marking period.   This screen will allow parents to sign up for automatic student grade and attendance reports to be e-mailed to the desired e-mail address on a desired basis.   This screen will display current teacher comments. Click on a teacher’s name to send an e-mail to that teacher.   This screen will display current School Bulletin’s from the Principal of your child’s school.  Click on past and future dates to display desired information.   This screen will display the student’s current lunch balance. Grades for ordinary assignments should be posted by 8 am for the previous week's work.  2. Grades for major projects will take longer, but will be flagged with a teacher comment. 3. Teachers should respond to an email within 48 hours of its receipt - usually circumstances should be made clear in advance. 4. Planned system outages will be announced via the Daily Bulletin.  Access will be closed for the week prior and the week following Final Grades and Quarterly Reports. For Additional Support:
