Excitement abounds every day as I come
to work at Westfall and am greeted by hundreds of smiling faces!
My role at Westfall is to teach students who learn in
unique ways and who may need extra assistance outside the
regular classroom environment.
I truly believe that EVERY child CAN learn and that it is
my responsibility to discover their learning style and what
works best for each individual.
I have accumulated the blessings and
rewards of 30 years as an educator.
I graduated with a Master’s Degree in Speech/Language
Pathology from Fort Hays State University in central Kansas. I
then worked as a Speech/Language Pathologist in Colorado and
North Dakota for 13 years.
I then pursued a degree in Special Education from Adams
State College in Colorado.
Since 1997, I have loved teaching students with
mild/moderate special needs.
My husband and I moved
to Oklahoma in 2007 for his career change, and I feel very
fortunate to have found my “niche” at Westfall.
We have three grown, married children, and seven
wonderful grandchildren! They all live in Colorado, however, so those 750 miles of road
between us are heavily traveled!
We love fishing, hiking and riding ATV’s in the mountains
of Colorado and spending time spoiling grandchildren.
I am here to assist
students AND their parents!
If you ever have questions or concerns about your child,
please do not hesitate to contact me.
I would be happy to meet with you.
