The Choctaw-Nicoma Park School District provides numerous instructional programs within our schools to promote student success.
Our five elementary schools are Great Expectation Model Schools. Great Expectations (GE) fosters respect and excitement within a school program to inspire learning.
Our two middle school sites operate under the tenants of “This We Believe”, the sixteen characteristics of successful middle schools as defined by The Association for Middle-Level Education. These research-supported characteristics create an environment for students to gain higher levels of achievement over time.
Choctaw High School, complete with a ninth-grade academy for our students, has been recognized as a top 50 high school in the “High Schools that Work” network of over 1,500 schools. In addition, our students continue to receive academic recognition through scholarships, awards, and recognitions at the state and national levels.
Pre-K through 12th grade, students remain the focus in every curriculum decision made within our district.
The provided links include resources both for teachers and parents in curriculum areas. Please contact our department with any curriculum or instructional questions you might have.
