On Tuesday evening, April 20, 2021 the CNP Schools Teachers of the Year were celebrated and Tina Dewey was announced as the 20-21 District Teacher of the Year.
All of these teachers received recognitions of appreciation with over $2,080.00 worth of cash, merchandise, and gift cards and an additional personal day off for the 21-22 school year.
In addition to the previously mentioned benefits, Ms. Dewey, as District Teacher of the Year, received over $2,525.00 worth of cash, merchandise, and gift cards. She also received an additional personal day to be used in the 21-22 school year.
Congratulations to all these very fine educators.
Every year CNP gives special recognition to individuals who go above and beyond in support of our students, teachers and district. We were unable to celebrate last year so this year there were two recognitions given. Scott Lange, husband of Lori Lange, accepted on her behalf for the extra effort she put in to providing meals for our students throughout the shut down. She was on the front lines every day making sure everyone had an opportunity for meals. She is deeply missed. Also recognized were Steve and Shanna Keiffer for their efforts in providing thermometers for every classroom at the high school and quite a few classrooms at the middle school levels. It was the goal of the district that every classroom have access to their own thermometer in an effort to help keep everyone healthy; and thanks in a large part to Steve and Shanna Keiffer, that was possible.
Please view the Celebration Slideshow for a full listing of the wonderful sponsors who helped make this celebration a memorable one! Thanks to everyone who worked so hard and gave so much. You help prove everyday that "CNP Schools IS the place to be!"
