The CNP School District provides:

At Choctaw-Nicoma Park Schools, elementary students have the opportunity to learn in a Great Expectations Model School environment. Each site serves approximately 300-500 students, allowing faculty to build meaningful relationships and provide individualized attention to both students and their families.

Middle school students benefit from research-based practices designed to support academic and personal growth. These include full teaming with core teachers, advisory classes focused on academic progress, social development, and future planning, as well as a strong emphasis on core literacy and a nurturing school atmosphere. Teachers collaborate daily with their core teams for 45 minutes and are also provided an additional 45 minutes for individual planning.

At the high school level, students follow a traditional block schedule, which allows them to enroll in more courses before graduation. Choctaw High School offers a Freshman Academy to support the transition from middle school, along with a wide range of opportunities in academics, athletics, fine arts, AFJROTC, agricultural education, and numerous clubs and organizations. Students also benefit from partnerships with Eastern Oklahoma County Technology Center and Rose State College, expanding their access to career and college pathways.

Choctaw-Nicoma Park Schools continue to grow alongside a thriving community. Voters recently approved the largest bond issue in district history, supporting major investments including a new high school, a state-of-the-art multipurpose facility, and additions and improvements at every school site. These enhancements reflect the community’s strong commitment to providing exceptional learning environments for students and staff.

Choctaw-Nicoma Park Schools are supported by an engaged community and strong parent involvement. The district averages nearly 95% parent participation during scheduled parent-teacher conferences. Local civic organizations and government entities also play an active role in supporting students and staff.

Graduates of Choctaw-Nicoma Park Schools are well prepared for both college and the workforce, thanks to the diverse opportunities available throughout their educational journey.
