Choctaw-Nicoma Park Employee Referral Program Procedures

Help Choctaw-Nicoma Park Public Schools hire great teachers and earn a bonus!

If you know someone Choctaw-Nicoma Park Public Schools should consider, you may be awarded a referral bonus if you refer a candidate and he or she is hired. The bonus amounts are as follows:

  • $150 for a certified teacher at any grade level or subject
  • $200 for a math teacher, science teacher, special education teacher, speech language pathologist, or psychologist

Employees must refer candidates to Human Resources through the employee referral program link on the Choctaw-Nicoma Park Public Schools HR webpage.

Program Rules

  • All Choctaw-Nicoma Park Public Schools employees, except Administrators, are eligible for the referral bonuses.
  • The hiring of a referred employee must occur within 180 days (six months) of the initial referral date.
  • The referral must occur prior to an interview with Choctaw-Nicoma Park Public Schools.
  • To be eligible for an award, employees must refer candidates to Human Resources through the employee referral program link on the Choctaw-Nicoma Park Public Schools HR webpage.
  • The referring employee must agree to have his or her name used when the Choctaw-Nicoma Park Public Schools administrator contacts the candidate.
  • The first employee to refer a candidate will be the only referring employee eligible for payment.
  • Only candidates who meet the essential qualifications for the position will be considered.
  • All candidates will be evaluated for employment consistent with Choctaw-Nicoma Park Public Schools district policies and procedures.
  • All information regarding the hiring decision will remain strictly confidential.
  • The referring employee must be currently employed by Choctaw-Nicoma Park Public Schools at the time of payment to receive payment of the referral bonus.
  • Any disputes or interpretations of this employee referral program will be handled through Human Resources.
  • All referral bonus payments will be paid to the employee during the December pay period of the hire year. To be eligible the candidate must successfully complete a minimum of 90 days of employment.
  • The Choctaw-Nicoma Park Public Schools Employee Referral Program is for the current school year.
